I understand that choosing a school for your young child can be challenging. But at CMA, we believe you’ll be impressed by what you see, and by what the children experience.
Welcome from the Head of School
My name is Kristin Patterson, and on behalf of our school community I want to welcome you to Central Montessori Academy. Thank you for considering CMA for your child.
CMA is a truly unique school; it has one of best reputations among Montessori schools in the Cincinnati Tri-state area. CMA is designed to create a positive and nurturing academic environment rooted in the Montessori Philosophy. We have created a family-like atmosphere that supports mutual respect for each individual. Our committed and compassionate staff of Montessori-trained teachers believe in teaching and developing the whole child: academically, emotionally and physically.
At CMA, you will find that children gravitate toward the beautiful and engaging Montessori materials. As Head of School, I am amazed daily watching the development of the children: how they are being transformed into independent, thoughtful, kind learners.
I highly recommend that you visit during school hours to observe the children in action—at all levels—and you will be just as amazed as I am. The warm, caring, dedicated and educated staff will help your family feel comfortable and right at home. CMA offers an environment where children love to come to school. It’s an amazing place to grow up… while developing skills that will last a lifetime.
Your tuition dollars go to pay the certified Montessori teachers and to keep our class sizes and ratios low. CMA provides children a well-rounded Montessori education, individualized attention and self-paced learning. CMA gives a child a sense of independence and allows the child to be creative and self motivated. Children learn to think for themselves and make their own discoveries—character traits that will help them achieve in this fast-paced world.
The enrollment process is simple. In order to enroll your child, parents first take a tour of the school, then the child interviews with the teacher, and then the child is accepted. This process is important because we want to be sure that we can meet each child’s needs to ensure that your child can achieve their full potential in our program.
I hope you will schedule a tour to see if Central Montessori Academy is the right school for your family. I look forward to getting acquainted with you and your child.
We’re confident we can help your child become his or her best self through a love of learning.
