Activities

Extracurricular activities give students the opportunity to explore and expand areas of interest, reaching beyond the classroom.

Some of the after-school clubs we have offered in the Coding Club, Art Club, Science Club, Yoga Club, Soccer Club, and Nature Club. We also provide space to our Music teacher who provides piano, voice & clarinet lessons (she charges a fee).

Some activities are led by parent volunteers, while others are organized by staff members. These are typically after school or early evenings, Some past activities have been playground & popsicles, meet up at a certain location to play or do a certain activity (trampoline place, skating, park, etc.), ice-cream treat, game time, etc.

Dates and Fees

When available, activities run quarterly and are available to any CMA student for an additional fee. Any child who is signed up for the extended day program is able to attend clubs of their choice for free.

Seasonal Activities

CMA holds a Fall Family Festival each year to celebrate the start of the school year. There are inflatables, crafts, snow cones, games and more.

Since 2008, CMA has participated in the Kids’ Flying Pig Marathon. This event is a great way to teach children about nutrition and healthy habits. We train for several weeks by running as a group at nearby Winton Woods. The children run the final mile of the Flying Pig Marathon, and receive a t-shirt and medal.

We also host a BookFair and have Fundraisers such as the Spring Gala, Student Sleepovers with teachers, Parents Night out, and more.

How to Enroll

Information is distributed to current CMA  families as opportunities become available. If questions, please contact Denise Ott, dott@centralmontesoriacademy.com
