Central Montessori Academy is located in Springfield Township in Northwest Cincinnati, and is easily accessible to families living in Fairfield, Wyoming, Evendale, Glendale, Mt. Healthy, North College Hill, Colerain, and other areas. CMA families also come to us from Northern Kentucky, Indiana, and the northern suburbs of Mason, West Chester, and Liberty Township.

We are located within commuting distance to Greater Cincinnati employers such as:

  • Regional health care centers
  • Downtown Cincinnati

CMA is easily accessed via the Hamilton Avenue exit off either Ronald Regan Highway or I-275.

Campus

At CMA, we believe connecting with nature is important for children. Our five-acre campus supports this belief, by offering a range of outdoor play spaces, learning areas, activities to develop children’s large and fine motor skills, as well as building lasting friendships and an appreciation of nature.

Our well-rounded outdoor campus features:

  • A natural playground
  • Swings
  • Climbing walls
  • Slides and sandboxes
  • Monkey bars
  • A large field for soccer, tag, and cooperative games
  • Garden spaces
  • Woods where trails provide a place for discovery and creative play such as building forts and identifying flora & fauna

Education

CMA is licensed by the State of Ohio Department of Early Childhood Education and the State of Ohio Department of Education. We not only meet the Ohio State standards but we also meet the Montessori standards (American Montessori Society).

Classrooms

Our classrooms consist of one Toddler classrooms, three Pre-Primary classrooms (Preschool and Kindergarten); two Lower Elementary classrooms (grades 1-3); and one Upper Elementary classroom (grades 4-6).

Classrooms are Montessori-prepared environments including age-appropriate works and classroom pets. Our current enrollment is approximately 115 students, served by 30 faculty and staff members.
